Georgia Tech defeated Virginia, 70-61, to win their second ACC Tournament Championship in program history. Yellow Jackets' Brian Oliver was named the tournament MVP, and he had 17 points and four rebounds in the win over the Cavaliers. Dennis Scott had a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Kenny Anderson added 18 points, four assists, and three rebounds. Bryant Stith was Virignia's leading scorer with 17 points and nine rebounds. Kenny Turner had a double-double for UVA with 15 points and 11 rebounds.
