Tottenham Hotspur are poised to strengthen their attacking lineup by signing two forwards in the upcoming transfer window, aiming to fill the void left by Harry Kane’s departure.

That is according to the insights shared on Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast by Football Insider’s senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke. As per him, Spurs are targeting both a senior wide forward and a striker this summer.

Tottenham are not satisfied with Richarlison’s performances and will reportedly be open to selling him if they receive a good offer.

Saudi club Al Hilal have a long-standing interest in him and are reportedly poised to make a move for him in the upcoming transfer window.

The recently turned 27-year-old forward has scored 11 goals and provided 4 assists in his 28 Premier League appearances this season, including 9 goals in his last 11 starts.

Although Richarlison’s recent form is praiseworthy, it doesn’t negate his underwhelming performance since joining from Everton for a fee worth £60m.

Spurs’ top scorer in the ongoing campaign, Son Heung-min, has scored 17 goals and provided 9 assists in his 34 league appearances this season. (Transfermarkt)

However, notwithstanding his considerable goal contributions, the South Korean hasn’t been at his most convincing while playing in a central role rather than his usual position on the left wing.

The need for a traditional striker is crucial for Spurs to significantly bolster their forward line heading into the next season.

Alongside a new centre-forward, Tottenham are also seeking a wide forward to increase competition and depth in their attacking options.

By securing both a striker and a winger, Ange Postecoglou aims to rejuvenate the attack and maintain competitiveness in the upcoming season.
